I explored Bukit Lawang, ventured into Gunung Leuser National Park to see semi-wild Sumatran orangutans, and experienced basic camping. Wild Camping in Sweden: A Summer Experience
The summer camping trip to Sweden involved exploring the outdoors, cooking with a Trangia, and foraging for wild berries and mushrooms. Traveling from Copenhagen to Vättern, we camped in various locations, including Tivedens National Park. Despite challenges in finding secluded spots, we enjoyed swimming in stunning lakes and appreciated the facilities available, ultimately concluding that free camping could be improved with better planning.
