We are so fortunate in Europe to have such a well-connected network of trains. It is far from the perfect experience to travel by train in Europe, but you sure get a lot of adventure on the tracks!
Don’t worry about lost luggage or overweight luggage when checking in at the airport; no-one cares when you are on a train!
That being said, traveling light on the train is quite convenient as you may change trains a lot. As you can read in one of the posts below, you can easily travel with either a large backpack or a trolley.
If you have time to spare, or want to travel more consciously – do yourself a favor and try interrail in Europe.
