This post is about a two-day jungle trek in Sumatra, Indonesia, as part of a three-week group trip. I explored Bukit Lawang, ventured into Gunung Leuser National Park to see semi-wild Sumatran orangutans, and experienced basic camping. The adventure included hikes, delicious meals, and river tubing, emphasizing the unique wildlife and community.

Wild Camping in Sweden: A Summer Experience
The summer camping trip to Sweden involved exploring the outdoors, cooking with a Trangia, and foraging for wild berries and mushrooms. Traveling from Copenhagen to Vättern, we camped in various locations, including Tivedens National Park. Despite challenges in finding secluded spots, we enjoyed swimming in stunning lakes and appreciated the facilities available, ultimately concluding that free camping could be improved with better planning.

Madeira: A half-day hike to Risco and the 25 Fontes
During my family vacation to Madeira in January 2024, we hiked the 'Levada das 25 Fontes' and 'Levada do Risco' with a tour guide. Opting for a guide was necessary due to transportation constraints. The trail showcased local wildlife, Laurissilva forest, Levadas, and featured a thrilling 800-meter tunnel. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hope to return for more exploration.
